Piero Penizzotto (b. 1998, Queens, NY) is a Peruvian-American artist born and based in New York. Penizzotto’s sculptural practice is presented as an ode to the friendships and communities he is a part of, growing up in New York and South Florida. He graduated from Hunter College with honors with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts (2022). Previous solo exhibitions include WHAAM! Gallery, New York (2025), Primary, Miami (2024), and White Columns, New York (2023). Penizzotto is a 2025 Bronx Museum AIM Fellow. His work is included in the Bronx Museum AIM Biennial (2026), and his work will be included in MoMA PS1’s Greater New York Show (2026). Penizzotto’s work can also be found in the collection El Espacio 23, Miami, FL.
