Paula Santomé (b. Spain, 1994) lives and works in Basel, Switzerland. She holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo, ES (2018), and completed her Master's in Fine Arts at the Institute Art Gender Nature, HGK FHNW, Basel, CH (2022), for which she got a scholarship by Fundación María José Jove, ES. She was awarded with a Pro Helvetia Production Grant (2025) and she’s winner of the Premio Exposición Puerto Santander (2025). She was a finalist of Kiefer Hablitzel Göhner Kunstpreis, CH (2023) and won First Prize of Contemporary Art Prize of the Instituto Dental Campos, ES (2018). Santomé has been recently awarded with the Manor Kunstpreis 2027, for the region of Basel.
